The Senior Director of Infrastructure Business Management will be responsible for coordinating and operating an efficient and effective infrastructure organization. The Senior Director will have a broad mandate to establish business and process management, communications, and strategic portfolio management. This individual will have a range of responsibilities that will include budgeting, headcount, demand-analysis, and initiative prioritization.
This individual must foster strong working partnerships with business and internal infrastructure stakeholders in order to achieve continuous improvement of outstanding service delivery. Additionally, this person must understand technology infrastructure, technology operations, and risk management. They must be able to present key issues and represent infrastructure technology across stakeholder communities, including executive leadership, global technology, risk management committee, and external auditors .
Understanding of the importance of managing a technology infrastructure environment
Strong business acumen, coupled with a core set of technical, analytical and presentation skills
IT risk and governance framework and process knowledge
Strong leadership and management skills
Strong relationship management skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and deliverables
Proven project management skills in leading and directing the work of others (Certified PMP, ScrumMaster, or the like)
Detail-oriented
Expert knowledge of the ITIL or COBIT framework
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong academic credentials
