Job Description:
This Senior Director role is the key finance partner to senior business leaders for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations as well as Product Business Groups and Corporate G&A functions. As an integral member of the finance leadership team, reporting to the CFO, the Director’s primary responsibility is to drive financial results in line with Logitech’s strategy and objectives.
As a trusted financial partner, the Director will provide business insight, critical financial analyses and effective planning, analysis and reporting processes to enable effective decision making.
This position will work with Manufacturing/Supply Chain teams to plan, report, and manage risk of all operational costs associated with inventory, supply chain, manufacturing overhead and product costs. The Director will also support Business Groups in their development of products, portfolio management decisions, and marketing and pricing strategy. The Director will assure that G&A organizations (IT, Finance, HR, Legal and Indirect Procurement) drive efficient operations to minimize spend.
This is a critical and highly visible position which requires the ability to form strong working partnerships with senior business leaders and develop and mentor a team financial managers and analysts to effectively execute and support the Company’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with SVP of Operations, VP of Supply Chain, VP of NPIs, Business Group GMs and Infrastructure GMs; Advise on resource deployment and other investments to drive revenue and cost optimization
Quickly develop an understanding of our complex business; demonstrate mission-critical technical and functional skills to gain respect and confidence from business partners
Drive financial accountability within the supported business organizations, through development of relevant business metrics, sound operational plans, and insightful financial analyses; constructively challenge assumptions
Responsible for annual and quarterly financial planning cycle for each supported business organization, as well as 3-5 year strategic planning
Manage month end/quarter end closing process and related variance analysis to explain and drive action for business results divergent from financial targets
Maintain highest integrity with regard to the Company’s financial accounting and reporting policies and maintain strong partnership with Corporate FP&A and Corporate Controllership and Accounting teams
Develop and mentor a team of financial managers and analysts to enable the teams’ objectives and support individual development opportunities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 15 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within the FP&A function
3-5 years experience supporting manufacturing environment and supply chain organization
Track record of demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced, complex environment
Skilled at building relationships with executive business partners
Strong and independent analytical thinker and influencer
Work style should reflect big picture thinking as well as keen understanding and management of details
Superior presentation and communication skills, mature presence coupled with emotional intelligence
B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA or CPA a plus
