Senior Director Inbound Sales Time Warner Cable San Antonio

Job Description:
The position is responsible for the development and implementation of Inbound Telesales strategies to meet and exceed Sales, Customer Lifetime Value, Revenue, and P&L goals in the San Antonio, TX Telesales Center.

Essential Job Functions
Directs all day to day operations and planning functions for the San Antonio and Irving, TX Telesales Centers.
Provide leadership and enhanced problem solving skills, as well as effectively coach, train and motivate a diverse sales organization toward reaching growth objectives.


Direct supervision of the Director, Sales Managers, Supervisors and Sales Staff providing direction for recruiting, training, coaching, motivation, monitoring and scheduling strategies.
Develop and implement an annual telesales plan, including department goals and compensation programs, with monthly and quarterly updates and contingency plans to ensure optimization of sales.
Leads the development and implementation of a positive winning sales culture.
Constantly evaluates and communicates sales, P&L, and operational results, and provides immediate feedback and direction to Sales Managers, Supervisors and Representatives.
Works with Workforce Management and Telecom teams to optimize scheduling and call routing to maximize sales performance.
Constantly works with teams to identify and implement tactics to increase sales performance, including scripting changes, IVR and Call Routing changes, offer changes, incentive programs, etc.
Ensures adequate reporting and analysis tools are developed to successfully manage the sales team.
Prepares department budget and be accountable for meeting budget guidelines.
P&L Responsibility for department.
Along with VP Telesales, sets quantitative and qualitative standards and goals; monitors daily/weekly/monthly progress, and reports to senior management/corporate on results.
Seeks resolution of escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
Operates among the members of Telesales leadership.

Position Requirements

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to perform functions of Supervisors, as well as delegating authority to carry out work of the unit to subordinate Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA Preferred – Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-Year College or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience preferred.Seven (7) to 10 years’ successful Sales Management, as well as seven (7) to 10 years call center experience preferred.
