Job Description:
Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Digital Marketing to join our growing marketing team. This candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and lead a team of digital marketers in our headquarters as well as team members internationally, responsible for all inbound digital marketing programs including SEO, SEM, Display/Retargeting, Video Advertising, and Conversion Optimization (A/B and Multivariate onsite testing). The person in this role will be responsible for meeting specific KPIs across all product lines at Cvent, with the end goal being continued growth of Sales Qualified Leads and attributable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing and a background in B2B lead generation. Juggling many projects across multiple teams isn’t a possibility, but an everyday requirement in this role, and the ideal candidate will need to be extremely organized and comfortable in a high-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Actively optimize Cvent web entities (domestic and international) for higher natural search rankings and incremental natural search traffic and conversions
Directly manage one senior marketing analyst on site, and indirectly manage two marketing analysts internationally
Act as strategist for SEM across product lines and countries to ensure strong Quality Scores, CPCs, and Cost Per Lead metrics
Manage the strategy around paid social media marketing campaigns
Oversee and be responsible for a multi-million dollar paid digital media budget
Research, demo, and trial new technologies, partners, and vendors to keep us ahead of the curve
Own the process and drive strategy around testing, web site personalization, and conversion optimization across all Cvent web entities
Forge strong relationships with product marketing leads, sales leads, and senior management key stakeholders
Desired Skills and Experience
8+ years’ experience in digital marketing
Expert level, in-depth knowledge of SEM, SEO, and Display Advertising
Previous team management experience
Experience working SEM keyword portfolios of over 100,000
Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics or Omniture SiteCatalyst (Adobe Analytics)
Adwords certification a plus
International/multi-national campaign management experience a plus
Basic knowledge of HTML
BS/BA Degree Required
