Job Description:
The XLOS Sector practice team provides facilitation, strategic alignment and practice reporting of Sector and XLOS practice strategy and operations, working with all functional groups, including Marketing and Sales, Information & Collaboration Strategy, Research & Analysis, HR, Learning and Development, Finance, Operations, and Admin. The team utilizes a core understanding of all LOS, Sectors, Markets, and practice groups, as well as detailed practice needs in each, to coalesce activities between/amongst functional groups and LOS and maximize efficiency and effectiveness in achieving targeted strategic objectives.
Demonstrates Proven Thought Leader-level Knowledge Of, And a Record Of Success Directing Efforts Involving, The Identification And Addressing Of Client Needs Utilizing Technology And Collaboration Tools (i.e. Microsoft Suite, Skype, Lotus Notes, WebEx, IPhone, IPad, Blackberry, Social Media Tools--Google, Blogs, LinkedIn, Etc.), As Well As The Following Areas, To Support Business Initiatives


Developing and sustaining extensive client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify new service opportunities;
Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials;
Defining resource requirements, project workflow, and budgets; and,
Leading teams to generate a vision, to establish direction and motivate members, as well as create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, to encourage improvement and innovation.

Minimum Years of Experience:
8
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree or 12 years of professional success in areas of operations or financial analysis or sector/knowledge management
Degree(s) Preferred: Master's degree
Certification(s) Preferred: CPA

Knowledge Preferred

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of the Firm's sectors, line of service (LOS) and cross-line of service (XLOS) groups, functional groups, and related industry regulatory restrictions. This includes coordinating across teams to develop and execute operations results and analyses, identifying business issues for XLOS and each LOS-specific area.

Demonstrated proven expertise with driving strategic alignment and execution of business goals across a large (>$250M and 30 priority accounts), complex national sector with global connectivity, emphasizing these areas: prioritizing and leading projects, executing strategic goals and making recommendations for revenue growth with a focus on priority accounts around wins, losses, strengths, weaknesses, and emerging issues.

Skills Preferred

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities to develop and execute Industry and/or Sector strategies (XLOS and LOS) and operations plan, and execute a Sector/LOS service delivery model--strategies and operation plans to facilitate client management; channel choice, segmentation, succession planning, priority account management, and audit quality and effectiveness efforts, emphasizing the following areas:
Implementing sector-focused monthly pipeline analyses based upon reports from local sector leaders, making recommendations to achieve revenue growth with a focus on priority accounts around wins, losses, strengths, weaknesses and emerging issues;
Communicating effectively with a broad network of individuals to provide support with content, tools, and best practices.
Identifying and interpreting sector practice management issues; strategy execution, practice operations and reporting, sales and pipeline management.
Managing a large, complex sector budget.
Interfacing with XLOS Sector Leaders, Sector Council and Marketing and Sales leaders to develop and execute XLOS Sector strategy efforts.
Serving as a sector point of contact, and partner with XLOS Sector Leader and Sector Council to lead development and execution of XLOS Sector strategy efforts.
Functioning as a strategic business partner on a national and global level to drive change management and manage client relationships, with emphasis on independent managerial discretion, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and leveraging large sectors.
Addressing requests from the global Sector and Industry program leadership on reporting, budgeting, and planning of internal Sector events
