This Virtual Mtg. Producer position serves as the Executive Producer for all virtually enhanced meetings & training sessions at a secure Government Conference Center facility. This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring smooth operation of the production’s technical processes and equipment, including audio and video quality, remote connections, communications channels, web accessibility features. Responsibilities also include directing & coordinating technical aspects from pre-production through post-production, and will be responsible for identifying any technical resource needs. The Producer typically serves as the primary manager in command of the production event. The roles also will require one to manage scheduling of staff and assist with producing reports/metrics on a "as needed" basis.
Activities include:
Coordinating with Directors and clients to establish standards and expectations for each event.
Organizing and providing direction for the production support staff, including camera operators, video and audio technicians, and graphics operators.
Ensuring that technical capabilities are established for all presenters including those participating from remote locations.
Direct the production feed for live events.
Operating equipment such as switchers, laptops, cameras, or other devices.
Interfacing with the Floor Manager to coordinate instructions for presenters during the event.
Overseeing resolution of technical problems during an event.
Ability to oversee operation of Tricaster 8000, Allen & Heath iLive audio mixer and a Panasonic PTZ Camera System Controller
Understanding of multicasting, unicasting, and familiarity with CDNs and streaming protocols including using Flash and HTML5
Familiarity with webcast and webconferencing services including Livestream, Vbrick and WebEx
Role may expand to include other responsibilities as the position evolves

Position Summary
Effectively implements and completes projects as designed and scheduled within budgetary guidelines. Conducts product rationalization for each operating unit. Provides communication and training as necessary for the successful implementation of projects as they are assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of experience in project management or related field
