Job Description
Primary focus of this position is presentation and analysis of information (i.e., slides, graphs, variances, etc.) Prepare, review and analyze quarterly and annual earnings information including webcast slides and briefing book. Prepare monthly metrics and quarterly fluctuation and variance analysis for internal use and for external auditors. Prepare EPS calculation and EPS projections. Coordinate financial disclosures for segment definition changes, acquisitions, dispositions and assist in re-designing PeopleSoft reports to reflect changes

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Quarterly and annual internal and external reporting including webcast slides, briefing book and review of documents.
Preparation of EPS and EPS projections.
Monthly metrics and quarterly financial analysis and variance write-ups.
Other duties as requested, including assistance in preparing and/or reviewing work papers for various SEC filings and public offerings.

Knowledge
Prefer 2-4 years of experience in Big 4 Public Accounting, plus 4-6 years in a public company.
8-10 total years of financial analysis or accounting experience, some SEC Reporting experience a plus.
Financial services or insurance industry experience preferred.
Strong analysis background.
Automated general ledger and other automated financial systems experience.

Advanced knowledge/use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint including graphics capabilities.

Prior Work Experience And Education
8-10 years of relevant technical experience.
1-3 years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA certification preferred.
