Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Fusion Middleware Central Development team is looking for a Sr. Director, Platform Cloud Services Development with deep experience developing, managing cloud scale platform services and components in distributed and services-based architectures. This leadership role within Central Development team will require you to focus on growing the team, evangelizing platform cloud services with technically sound architecture choices and collaborating with various Fusion Middleware product leaders to establish usage of common building blocks and micro-services. You will partner with DevOps, Ops and Infrastructure teams to run these micro services at large production scale. You will have immense product development background and can work with services mindset and feel responsible for your work all the way to production.



Education, Skills And Experience



·Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent areas

·15+ years of professional experience in engineering management, product development, technical leadership with previous hands-on development profile
