Job Description
The Product Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing all product marketing related needs for TWC Media’s omni-screen advertising solutions, including: IP video (Ads Everywhere), Video On Demand, Targeted TV, Online Display and Video, Mobile Display and Video, Search, OOH (FunTV), data analytics, as well as future new product launches. The Director will also be responsible for developing and executing category sales strategies to grow revenue across the top local ad sales verticals (such as Auto, Healthcare, Retail, QSR, and Education)

The Product Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing all product marketing related needs for our omni-screen advertising solutions, including: IP video (TV Everywhere platform), Video On Demand, Targeted TV, Online Display and Video, Mobile display and video, Search, OOH, data analytics, as well as future product launches.
The Product Marketing Director owns critical steps throughout the lifecycle of our suite of omni-screen products – from development, to enhancements, to deployment. The director will be responsible for “connecting the dots” between our solutions and our key local ad sales categories, and developing sales strategies to help grow revenue across these categories. The Director will partner with the VP Product Marketing to craft the marketing strategy and value proposition for our omni-screen products and manage a team of four (4) to activate the strategy.
This person must be able to work effectively in a highly collaborative and matrix organization, to successfully partner with Product, Product Activation, Sales, Brand Strategy & Communications, Client Solutions, Research, Programming/Content, and Finance to activate and deploy marketing strategies.
The Product Marketing Director must have the following capabilities in order to effectively lead and support cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle:Minimum 7+ years of Product Marketing experience - ideally in the media/ advertising industry (Online player, Digital Agency, Cable Distributor or Programmer)Strong knowhow of the digital advertising landscapeUnderstanding of multiple platform content consumptionKnowledge of top local advertising categories (such as Auto, Retail, Healthcare, T&E, and QSR)Deep understanding of how to leverage key research tools to craft actionable insights and strategiesConduct consumer segmentation and advertising personas to support product development and innovationUnderstanding of new product pipeline development and innovation (concept development, testing & commercialization)Craft product marketing strategy (purpose, value proposition by segment and category, personality & positioning)Translate product features into customer benefitsDevelop simple and easy to use sales and marketing materialsLead, motivate and grow high-performing team members
