Position Summary
The Director of National Accounts will have complete account responsibility for the entire commercially marketed portfolio within targeted accounts. The portfolio primarily consists of generic products.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement customer specific strategic plans that align to corporate growth and market share targets
Develop customer specific forecasts and financial projections

Effectively negotiate / manage all contract negotiations with leading customers securing both distribution access and product access at desired levels of performance
Effectively manage “C-Suite” customer meetings
Lead / coordinate marketing initiatives within target accounts to further expand product visibility and increased pull through
Participate in the development and implementation of Cipla’s business plan and sales strategy;
Define the appropriate sales channels and subsequently leverage that channel effectively and efficiently to obtain the greatest impact on company performance;
Implement the marketing strategy for product portfolio to include sales goals and strategies;
Collaborate with internal teams to define and develop marketing solutions & promotional activities for generic pharmaceutical products.
Represent the Cipla “brand “establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and enforce company regulatory guidelines.

Education & Experience Requirements:



BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical sales field and direct relationships with wholesale and retail chains.
Must have the ability to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions;
Must be able to work with minimal guidance, handle multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously with a positive attitude;
Strong client management, communication and presentation skills required;
Must have an entrepreneurial drive with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
