Job description
This position will lead the Program Office for Basel Data Governance and will be responsible for driving the implementation of data governance for Basel at the Company. The Director will partner closely with Enterprise Data Governance Office, Enterprise Program Management Office, Controllership, Risk, Treasury, Technologies and other teams to create the data quality attestation framework and lead the implementation of capabilities to effectively govern data and to improve data quality.



This position will lead the formulation of data quality related standards, policies, and procedures in partnership with Enterprise Data Governance Office to ensure that the data quality is appropriately measured.

Responsibilities Include
Collaborating with Technology team and Business SMEs to develop and implement data quality dashboards and reports, set up business rules and thresholds.
Leading the execution of data quality attestation and related activities.
Ensuring data management policies and procedures are current and implementing a robust change management process around them.
Leading communications of data quality approach, status and results to internal and external stakeholders.
Driving remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback on the data quality program.

Qualifications
8-10 years of work experience, of which at least 3-4 years in Basel/Data Governance.
Strong project management and excellent relationship skills.
Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Hands-on knowledge and implementation experience on data quality practices such as profiling, Lineage, and metadata management.
Prior experience in managing data and performing data quality assessment and remediation.
Knowledge of credit risk, financial, operational risk, and liquidity is a plus.
