Job Description
Amazon is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Mobile Business Development group as a Director of Mobile Business Development for OEMs. This role will work closely with Amazon’s senior management and category leaders across the company on partnerships and strategic business opportunities. You will be required to handle multiple projects across a variety of business and effectively negotiate terms that benefit Amazon and our customers. Specific Responsibilities Include The Following
Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic mobile partnerships and marketing deals that enable valuable customer experiences and support the strategic objectives of Amazon’s business units on a global basis.
Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate category leaders and across all functional areas of Amazon to execute on the relationships.
Create and execute strategy to incorporate and distribute Amazon applications and services into WW OEMs and Strategic Partners.
Manage and grow the account management team supporting WW Mobile Business Development.
10+ years of business development experience in the mobile, Internet and high-tech industries.
Demonstrated track record of identifying and executing successful partnerships and large scale marketing deals, particularly in the mobile, ecommerce, and digital media industries.
Experience in mobile eco-system business development with OEMs and/or Mobile Operators.
Significant experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
History of proven success at high level negotiations.
Ability to conduct business globally.
Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial along with a proven ability to influence others internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
Solid understanding of Internet business models and web technologies.
Expertise and a passion for rapidly evolving technologies in areas such as mobile, mobile application, social media and games, payments, advertising, and digital content.
Experience in negotiating international deals.
