Senior Director - Finance - Honeywell - Melville


Job description
The Sr. Director of Finance, Global ADI, is based in Long Island, NY and reports to the VP/CFO of Honeywell Security as well as the President of ADI Global.
This role will serve as CFO for ADI Global Leadership



Key Responsibilities
Drive actions to achieve and exceed planned improvements in year over year revenue, net income, working capital and free cash flow.
Partner with Business Leader to drive strategic and operating plans, and provide relevant data/guidance required to make key business decisions.
Own and execute business governance processes designed to deliver superior financial results.
Lead financial planning, forecasting and analyses processes including consolidation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Own and set business financial targets to achieve financial plans and forecasts.
Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance.
Provide leadership and insight during monthly operating reviews with Honeywell Security Group Senior Management.
Implement process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, and enhance information provided to senior management for making daily operating decisions.
Drive and track business growth and productivity initiatives across multiple functions.
Drive financial and business systems conversions to improve productivity and customer support.
Set schedule and priorities for finance staff in support of key business processes.
Partner with sales marketing, product management and logistics to resolve various financial and business process issues.
Serve as key member of business M&A integration teams. Perform business valuations and due diligence supporting execution of business strategic plan.
Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance .

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
Minimum of 10 years experience in finance positions
Minimum of 10 years leadership, mentoring, and management role
Additional Qualifications
CPA, CMA or MBA preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong business partnering and team building skills as well as strategic analysis.
Ability to apply intuition, experience and judgment to available data to make sound business decisions.
