Director - Strategic Marketing Solar Commercial - Schneider Electric - San Francisco
Job description
This position requires solid experience in strategic marketing, to address a market and work out a practical and well documented strategy to develop a differentiated, competitive positioning and grow a profitable business.
This position requires also a very good adaptability and capacity to partner with diversified, multi-cultural, profiles and cultures, also the cooperation with several countries and teams in the Solar Business to understand the local needs of the Solar Commercial market and for the building of business cases.
It needs to master or acquire quickly a solid knowledge of the Solar business in the Commercial market, being able to highlight differences in the possible business models, starting with products and solutions, for different countries.
The job is ideally based in San Francisco, but there can be consideration for another location in North America, and requires travelling in the different targeted countries and to meet regularly with strategic partners.
1. Required Skills & Knowledge For The Position
Compulsory strong experience in strategic marketing in a given market with high complexity – players, business models, fast dynamics and uncertainty of the market
Very solid experience of marketing and business development
Expert in building a business case.
Possible experience in Solar business or industry with similarities, in particular in commercial building market (security, home control, building management systems, etc...).
2. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience
Engineering or commercial education
Ten years of experience in marketing with a solid experience in strategic marketing
3. Languages: English.
4. Other Requirements:
Exposure to multi-national, multi-cultural teams.
