Director - Product Management, Programmatic TV Inventory - AOL Platforms - Seattle

Job description
Responsibilities:
* Act as an expert in television advertising technologies, companies, and terminology.
* Work with content producers, inventory providers, publishers, and other programmatic TV providers to integrate programmatic TV including linear, VOD, OTT, and HH addressable inventory
* Contribute to API definitions to create open standards for data
* Rapidly formulate concrete feature designs that address needs and requirements expressed by internal and external customers.

* Elicit feedback from stakeholders and iterate to achieve alignment around the final specifications.
* Evangelize, train, and produce clear documentation for internal and external customers.
* Work closely with engineers through launch in building and shipping new products.
* Manage, prioritize, and refine product backlog to balance improvement of current features and new product development.
* Research market trends and competitors to help define overall product strategy.
* Over time, assume ownership of product roadmap for a significant portion of the application.

Qualifications

* Demonstrated ability to envision, define, and deliver a substantial software product or major feature.
* Passion for building data, software, and technology solutions for real business problems.
* User and customer obsession.
* Significant professional experience as a product manager building large-scale web applications or data integrations
* Success collaborating with cross-functional groups, including corporate management, engineering, client services, enterprise customers and direct sales teams.
* Ability to articulate business and product requirements to engineering clearly and efficiently.
* Thorough knowledge of software development processes and ability to understand software systems, technical architecture, and data models.
* Experience in TV, online video, or advertising is preferred
* BS/MS or equivalent
