Senior Director - Strategy - PepsiCo - Purchase
Job description
The Senior Director will take a leadership role, with others in the department, in the annual Strategic Plan development effort and promote strategic development through extensive competitive analysis and by advancing the interests of the company at conferences, trade shows, and meetings with companies. This person will provide broad, strategic input into potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to ensure maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with the overall business.
Blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking. With direct access to senior executives, this individual will lead highly visible projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the company.
The successful candidate should have several years (minimum 5+ years post MBA) of managerial experience with a leading strategy consulting firm and have managed multiple teams. Industry experience in consumer products is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, and possess vision, exceptional ability and enthusiasm.
An ideal candidate should have the ability to identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis. He/she will have experience developing and designing implementation plans to drive execution. The candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and significant influence management skills with the ability to gain credibility with team members and senior management.
The successful candidate will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in continued learning. He/she will have excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively influence others, and a very high level of maturity.
Experience working within a Consumer practice or with consumer products/retail clients is highly desirable.
A Masters in Business Administration from a top-tier school is preferred.
