Director - Sales Compensation - Ricoh Americas Corporation - Malvern
Job description
POSITION PROFILE
Leads the development and monitors the effectiveness of Ricoh's sales compensation practices and programs aligned with Ricoh's business strategy. Reviews commission exceptions to determine the organization's approach. Is a key member of Ricoh's Senior HR team in developing, implementing and communicating Ricoh's sales compensation strategy.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consults regularly with functional leadership to understand and analyze the company's issues and needs in order to recommend compensation actions that assist in the delivery of performance results as required
Partners with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales productivity improvement including facilitating successful implementation of sales comp plans
Strategically manage Sales Compensation programs and processes for specific channels and verticals.
Leads the development, implementation, and management of the sales compensation plan and analysis process
Designs sales compensation programs that provide market-competitive pay, reinforce sales organization strategy, and align with business objectives
Development of comprehensive communication materials for each function within the sales compensation team
Development of IT Systems sales Compensation programs
Partners directly with Marketing on financial modeling of promotions, SPFs and incentives
Provide advice on Sales Compensation decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related issues.
Aligns compensation programs with the performance management priorities
Manages the timely completion of programs within budget
Facilitates cross-functional sales compensation review
Cross-functional alignment with Finance and IT teams
Directs and reviews the performance of Sales Compensation team
Participates in salary surveys as appropriate and manages the external benchmarking of Ricoh's compensation practices.
Partners with the Legal team to ensure compliance of Ricoh's compensation practices with federal and state laws
Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
4 year college degree required
CCP a plus.
Minimum of 10 years compensation experience in a corporate or consulting environment. Experience should include: base pay, variable incentive pay, executive compensation programs, sales compensation and compensation strategy development.
5-10 years of management experience of people and/or programs.
Experience successfully managing key corporate initiatives
