Director - Synergy - Fusion - ABC - Univision Joint-Venture - Miami

Job description
The Director of Synergy will be responsible for working with the Chief Programming Officer and Vice President of Marketing on managing the ongoing relationships across all day parts for the Network to further corporate priorities and Fusion business initiatives.

The Director is responsible for creating strategic, on target tie-in’s that promote Fusion and its programming with the goal of building brand awareness, and building viewer and fan bases. Specifically, the Director is a self-starter who requires very limited oversight in performing his or her duties and will help build relationships and foster strong partnerships with all Business Units of our parent companies--The Walt Disney Company/ABC and Univision.


Desired Skills and Experience
The Director should have a strong background in Marketing, synergy strategies, account management, both linear & digital knowledge, and an understanding of creative and production to further align with the core Fusion Marketing strategies and initiatives.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant or related work experience in Entertainment, specifically in Television or Theatrical, with previous marketing work experience strongly desired.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written presentation skills
Proven ability for strategic and cross- functional leadership of key initiatives
Expert abilities in prioritization, time-management, and multi-tasking
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Team player with the ability to initiate and work independently on projects
Strong analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Broadcasting, Communications, or other related field, or equivalent work experience required, with MBA preferred
Travel: up to 30%
Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to operate in a startup environment


Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Previous management experience
Strong knowledge of ABC, ABC Family, ESPN, & Fusion programming and competitive landscape overall
