Director - Industry Marketing - Government - Sutherland Global Services - Washington
Job description
To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
Responsibilities:
manage and coordinate all marketing and promotional activities and campaigns including event coordination (travel required) and marketing collateral (sell sheets, pitch books, etc.)
· conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future services
· analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
· develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new client focus and new services
· develop marketing platforms
· manage the timely design and execution of the marketing plans and projects
· monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
· determine and manage the marketing budget
· report on return on investment and key performance metrics
· develop pricing strategy as applicable to the services industry – could include price to win initiatives
· create marketing presentations
· liaise with media and advertising
· develop and expand references and case studies – conversion from commercial to government
· monitor industry best practices
· coordinate with Global Marketing team to ensure consistency of corporate messaging and brand identity
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification and without a degree that candidate should have 10 yrs experience
· experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
· technical marketing skills
· proven experience in customer and market research
· relevant industry knowledge
· Social media skills you should call it out
