Director - Account Management - HomeServe USA - Norwalk
Job description
The Director, Account Management reports to the SVP, Account Management – and is responsible for managing the day-to-day and strategic relationships with our energy utility partners. This high-impact position works closely with decision makers to maintain and expand business opportunities with existing and new key partner accounts.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Work with partners to uncover opportunities that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and ongoing business processes
Recommend and implement growth strategies that achieve maximum returns including channel and product expansion
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, finance, and business development to create and present business cases that support program expansion with current and prospective partners
Conduct performance analysis of partner programs and present results and strategic insights to partner and company leadership teams
Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with internal and external constituents.
Work with internal and external teams to steer proposed marketing campaigns through the approval process
Conduct formal and informal presentations on new services and products to key stakeholders
Secure additional product placement and revenue growth with partners
Work cross-functionally with integration team and other key stakeholders to integrate and launch new partners and products
Investigate and resolve escalated consumer issues and complaints
Ensure contract terms are met
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related area
A minimum of 10 years of consultative account management and business development experience
Demonstrated success in establishing and managing long-term client relationships and influencing others to attain goals/objectives
Experience with direct mail or affinity marketing campaigns
Strong business acumen and customer focus
Computer literate; intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Able to travel up to 30% of the work week to various partner sites
