Job description
The Fixed Operations Director will be responsible for working with our existing team of Service and Parts Managers and would be responsible for all facets of fixed operations for our Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Dodge, Kia, Chevrolet, Fiat and Alfa Romeo stores. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of all facets of fixed operations in a dealership setting. Strong people skills and excellent communication are a must to lead this team.



DUTIES OF FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR:
- Work with department managers to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Prepare an annual operating budget, goals, and objectives for the Service and Parts Departments and monitoring each department’s performance.
- Direct the hiring and training of managers for the service, parts, and body departments.
- Must be open to teaching and developing the management staff for future growth within the company
- Must be able to foster strong relationships at all levels
- Create and maintain a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that department staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business.
- Work directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines.
-Create dealership service and pricing policies for approval by the general manager.
- Ensure that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs.
- Maintain shop cleanliness to the highest standards.

Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFIED FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR:
- Minimum high school diploma required
- Two to four year college degree preferred
- At least 5 years of Fixed Operations Director experience
- Must have Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus
- Must have Domestic manufacturer experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be strongly process oriented
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Strong written and communication skills
- Consistent and stable work history
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
