What you’ll be doing…
As Senior Director, FP&A, you will report directly to the VP, Corporate Development (with dotted line reporting to the CFO) and provide leadership and coordination for all financing planning, forecasting and reporting activities for Tableau Software. Some of the things you’ll be doing include:
Lead, manage, develop and grow the FP&A team
Be a trusted business partner for senior management and business units.
Develop and manage annual, quarterly and monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
Prepare monthly reporting packages and other management reports
Lead preparation and presentation of financial information for Board and Management meetings.
Ensure strong alignment of operational targets with financial goals.
Other duties as assigned.

Experienced. 12+ years in financial planning or related experience. Hands-on experience with a high-growth, public technology company. You know how to establish FP&A processes that have the flexibility to react to rapid change.
Domain. Deep experience with financial, planning and analysis, including planning systems and their implementations. Broad knowledge of accounting, tax and external reporting. MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
Go Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic. You are self-directed, resourceful and willing to roll-up your sleeves as needed.
Data Geek. Strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and a love of data. You understand the value of our software and are excited about using it to drive strategic decisions and operational efficiencies.
Loyal. Track record of staying 3-5 years.
