Director - Lead Generation - Zenefits - San Francisco
Job description
We’re looking to hire a kick-ass director of demand/lead generation.
You’ll help create and lead our core growth initiatives: You’ll execute (both through agencies and your own two hands) many of our mission critical growth initiatives -- everything from traditional list building to unconventional growth hacking.
You’ll manage the largest team at Zenefits: You’ll have 40 contractors along with a quantitative marketer at your disposal to help you execute your growth goals. In addition, you’ll have access to development resources as you concept new and unconventional ways to generate leads.
You’ll be master of the lead list: One of your core responsibilities will be building our lead list acquisition strategy, which includes list building, modeling, response analysis, data hygiene, vendor mgmt, and more. As “Captain Kirk,” you’ll be asked to explore new frontiers to gather leads from.
Desired Skills and Experience
You have a chip on your shoulder and something to prove to the world
You have 5+ years of demand gen experience with a proven SaaS B2B lead gen track record
You’re an Excel prodigy
You have tried and true experience building e-mail lead lists
You have significant experience with Salesforce and email marketing
You have a strong analytical background and can define, report on, and optimize key metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
You have a way with words, both orally and on paper, along with impeccable grammar and an incredible attention to detail
Entrepreneurial spirit combined with an awesome sense of humor
Love of whiskey is a strong plus
