Director - Content Protection Security - Motion Picture Association of America - Los Angeles


Job description
The Director will be responsible for developing and managing the Content Security Program.

Key Responsibilities
Drive the ongoing development of the MPAA Content Security Program as an individual contributor with the ability to grow and lead a high-performance team.
Establish, track and manage all survey workflow processes and procedures from start to finish ensuring complete, effective, and timely operation of the Content Security Program.
Perform and/or manage the performance of vendor site security (facility management, physical and information security) surveys and follow-ups.
Provide training and guidance to facility operators in the application of MPAA best practices.
Maintain and update MPAA best practices and related work programs, work papers, and questionnaires, etc. ensuring alignment with latest industry trends/practices and regular member company input.
Monitor security risks and trends in the industry. Prepare reports and make formal presentations regarding trends and analysis to MPAA executives, member companies and others.
Evolve and manage relationships with MPAA member companies to develop strategies and objectives that ensure continuous program improvement.
Develop annual budget proposals, maintain financial records, and manage the Content Security Program within an approved budget.
Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of MPAA’s vendor registry database of various types of facilities and operations in the worldwide content supply chain.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, industry guilds and associations, and other content security groups and entities within the entertainment industry relating to content security.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to advise MPAA’s information security team on the MPAA’s corporate security strategy, policy education, risk management training, security compliance, and awareness activities.

Desired Skills and Experience
Education, Experience and Other Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree B.A./B.S. required, MBA a plus
Advanced training in security and risk management
Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or PMP strongly preferred; Ethical Hacker certification a plus
Minimum 5+ years combined experience in information security
Minimum 5+ years combined experience in program management with full-accountability (strategic development, execution, resource allocation, and ongoing performance management)
Experience conducting technical audits, to include network and application security assessments and penetration testing.
3-5 years experience in the entertainment or entertainment-related industry
Knowledge of physical and information security protocols
Broad technical expertise with application, system integration, data and/or infrastructure knowledge
Demonstrated ability in thought leadership and relationship building at an industry level
Knowledge and experience in managing vendors and consultants
Proven problem solving, analytical and leadership skills with the ability to anticipate and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
Must possess the highest level of work ethic and integrity with the ability to maintain confidential information
Superior presentation skills
Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
