POSITION SUMMARY

This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will have reporting to it the: internal business applications team, the external outsourced support team. IT ops/infrastructure does not report to this position at this time at this time

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Will continue to build a strong team that will be respected by the entire organization
Will be responsive to users
Will participate through customer and technology knowledge in shaping and execution of the company strategy
Will deliver technology solutions to meet company strategic goals to enhance operational execution and productivity
Will identify opportunities for cross-functional business processes
Develop a process framework and standard companywide methodology for process improvement
Will lead business expectations of IT value and lead IT organization to deliver value throughout the entire organization
Create an IT vision matching business knowledge to IT enablement
Build executive relationships to ensure IT alignment and integration with the business Complete SOX and essential system functionality
Assist in enhancing governance and Sox process, systems and controls throughout the company (SOX process already started. Deloitte employed to assist. In many areas SOX testing has been completed)

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Skills

15+ plus years experience in information technology, with at least ten years experience leading IT organizations in companies that are known for their outstanding IT departments.
Experience in a global company with multiple locations
Strong background in global organizations that have scaled into the hundreds of millions level in revenue
Demonstrated track record of IT leadership that enabled the business to scale effectively and efficiently
Strong applications background must know Oracle R-12 and have a data warehousing background
Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a significant factor as it is being integrated into Oracle R-12.
He/she must ensure that systems are developed and supported to meet client needs and effectively use consistent development methods, state-of-the-art technologies, and appropriate policies, procedures, and standards.

Must have successful career progression in complex organizations (multiple and global locations, networks, applications), and a complex sales force.
The VP of IT will have led an international IT organization managing fast growth environments.
Must understand a two tier business model and multiple product groups.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of a large complex, multi location global business.
Will have had experience working with sales groups and will have a strong understanding of their infrastructure needs and how they operate.
Background must include contract negotiations, vendor management, and capacity planning in a fast growth environment.
Will have a strong background with compliance and in the network security area although currently there is a CISO who manages infrastructure
Broad current knowledge of business technology applications, current trends in IT, and experience evaluating/implementing global solutions in outsourcing
BA/BS degree
