Director - Global Treasury - Medical Device -Oncology - Novocure - Philadelphia


Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for establishing and leading global treasury functions for a multinational oncology company registered in Jersey (Channel Islands) that is in its third year of commercial launch following FDA and EU approval of its lead product. This position will be directly responsible for managing corporate and subsidiary treasury policies and operations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including cash management, investments, intra-company funding structures, and banking relationships. Additionally, this position is a senior finance position expected to contribute to a variety of strategic projects led by the CFO. The position will report to the CFO and be based in Malvern, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global treasury policies and operations
Develop policy and procedure to forecast cash needs, cash available for investments
Manage corporate investment portfolio consistent with investment policy
Lead development and management of intra-company financing structures
Manage investment advisors and commercial banking providers
Manage covenant compliance and reporting for credit facilities or other debt structures
Develop and implement an appropriate currency hedging program, as needed
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting for treasury specific items, such as interest income and expenses, and investment fees

Required Qualifications
10 or more years of progressive experience, the majority of which should be in treasury
Treasury experience at corporate (not subsidiary level) for multinational corporation
Strong understanding of multinational enterprises, consolidated tax groups, tax planning concepts and international banking needs
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong writing and editing skills
Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or accounting
CFA, MBA or advanced degree in finance

Preferred Qualifications
Treasury experience with a public company, including supervisory experience
Experience working for a non-US corporate parent, managing global treasury functions
Life science experience (pharma, biotech, or medtech)

Other
Travel: 20-30% of the time
Travel primarily to New York, Switzerland and Jersey (Channel Islands)
Some travel to New Hampshire, Japan and new international subsidiaries when opened
Eligible to work in the U.S.
