Job description
With direction from Finance management, leads and coordinates financial analysis, recommendations and support for the US PEM Commercial team, managing the overall financial and business requirements.
The Responsibilities
Participate as an active member of US PEM Commercial team and collaborate with appropriate business leaders to contribute to all Brand decisions.
Establishes and monitors PEM financial goals and objectives
Leads and co-ordinates the execution of the PEM financial planning processes and recommend revised and/or growth plans when appropriate
Analyzes and reports on PEM performance to guide leadership in decision making process by utilizing data and translating into actionable proactive recommendations for the business
Serves as key interface and contact for the PEM regarding financial issues related to tax, treasury and accounting related items.
Provides business based financial analysis, insight and advice for the PEM Commercial Leadership Team in support of business decisions.
Works in conjunction with the PEM commercial team to develop and implement product strategic plan for the US market
Provides financial management expertise and coaching. Includes but is not limited to:
agreeing and reviewing sales forecasts
working with the S&OP group to update sales forecasts on a monthly basis
contracting strategies, and
investment proposals prior to presentation to leadership outside the team.
Creates, prepares and delivers presentations as required to US and UK leadership
Desired Skills and Experience
A minimum of ten years’ financial experience including five years in life sciences industry required. At least five years financial planning and analysis experience required. MBA in Finance or Accounting preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Successful interactions with Senior Management demonstrating impact and ability to influence planning for business needs. Strong leadership skills. Managed care analytical contracting experience. Strong negotiation skills. Strong business knowledge and background. Credibility, trust and relationship building. Solid knowledge and understanding of financial band analytical software systems
