Director - Online Acquisition
This position within the Underwriting team in Small Business Risk Management team will be primarily responsible for managing online acquisition. The team will work very closely with Marketing and Prospecting Marketing Capabilities teams (PMC) to drive the profitable acquisition of commercial businesses through the various digital channels. As the environment around us is changing, adapting our approach and the way we underwrite in digital world will be very critical.
This person will develop and implement risk policies and decisioning logic at new accounts and solicit prospects thru online targeting, utilizing social media, content marketing and other on line capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop acquisition capabilities in a fast changing environment and be a leader in an area which will continue to grow at a record pace.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications - External
• To develop/leverage digital capabilities.
• To drive Online Acquisitions.
• To develop and implement Risk Policies and Criteria for online channels.
• Ability to manage one to two professional Managers.
• Ability to work closely with Marketing, Prospecting, Marketing Capabilities and Digital Lab in India to drive results.
Master’s Degree or higher in these fields are preferred; Engineering, Economics, Statistics. Knowledge of Digital Capabilities and Social Media is highly preferred.
This position will be in the American Express OPEN Risk Management Department, and the qualified candidate will be
responsible for the targeting and execution of New Accounts Policies for all Small Business Card Products.
