Job Description:
The Yahoo! Corporate Finance team provides the executive leadership with timely and unbiased analysis and insights to inform critical business decisions for the company. The team has high visibility with Yahoo!’s senior executives. This role will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the success of the company.
The Yahoo! Corporate Finance team provides the executive leadership with timely and unbiased analysis and insights to inform critical business decisions for the company. Responsibilities:
• Lead and perform financial analyses for a variety of strategic opportunities, including domestic and international M&A and strategic investments/partnerships transactions.
• Provide recommendations to executive management based on both financial and strategic implications of strategic opportunities. Identify business drivers and risks and present these to executive management.
• Other key responsibilities include leading financial due diligence processes and interfacing with acquisition targets, partners and investment banks.
• Work extensively with the corporate development, accounting, legal, tax teams as well as members of Yahoo!’s business units and their operations finance partners.

Desired Skills & Experience
Skills/Qualifications:
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills preferably from M&A transaction execution experience.
• In-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis.
• Experience in leading financial due diligence processes in an M&A or JV context.
• Strong theoretical understanding of corporate finance concepts, such as CAPM, cost of capital, DCF and other valuation methodologies.
• Proven ability to work well in teams and develop strong rapport with senior and executive management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills and demonstrated managerial abilities.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
• Experience with high growth companies preferred.

6-8 years of corporate finance/M&A experience, with a requirement of at least 3-5 years of investment banking experience, preferably at the Vice President level.
