Supporting the ongoing development of a cutting edge N-Tier based SaaS solution for retailers such as Panera Bread and Staples in an Agile development environment.
We are looking for an additional developer with a hunger for applying the latest ideas and technologies, who is not afraid to venture out in uncharted waters and is not bound by traditional programming approaches and technologies.
You will be part of a team of advanced senior level developers who expect to be challenged and who are looking for nothing but perfection within the stated business objectives. At the same time, we have lots of fun and get to try out new stuff all the time.
Our brightest developers are self educated and have no college education, so do not hesitate applying if you fall in this category.
This is a position for those who are seeking to grow aggressively and kick their career into a higher gear, however this also means that self motivation and working long hours from time to time without a lot of immediate encouragement will have to be part of the experience.
Skills
This may seem obvious, but if you do not have a high level of discipline and can write clean, organized and consistent code, we will not hire you.
If you get quickly bored, you will fit on the team.
If you don't like routine tasks, you will fit on the team.
If you are able to switch responsibilities quickly and jump in wherever needed... you fit.
O yeah, forgot to mention we currently are mostly working in the latest .NET framework, use GIT and have a boatload of other software initiatives going on that you may from time to time need to interact with (anywhere from PHP applications to enterprise software for our production and fulfillment teams. Our web developers are currently primarily using EXTJS to accomplish their tasks.
