The environment support analyst will provide first level support for environment related problems, day to day operations support; build environments, and infrastructure design review. Responsibilities include:
• Root cause determination and recommended corrective actions
• Migrate application code across environments in development life cycle
• Coordinate and communicate system outage/maintenance
• Software deployment
• Environment monitoring
• Creating and maintaining automated jobs
• Batch execution
• Installation of application software
• Configuration
• Recognize and plan for environment and application related dependencies
• Understanding of existing environments to help determine if additional hardware/software is needed
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 yrs experience with the following tools and technologies: Unix, SQL, Shell scripting, SSH
• Experience migrating, containing and movement of code between multiple environments
• Understanding of basic environment architecture design (GUI, middleware, databases, mainframe, load balancing)
• Experience building the design, development, testing, and production environments
• Broad architectural experience across Windows, Unix or Linux OS
Additional Preferred Skills:
• Experience developing applications and deliverables throughout development life cycle.
• Experience implementing Change Control processes for new application code, and server configuration changes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to see the "big picture" - Infer conclusions and make decisions impacting both environment stability and project status
