Job Description
Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Vice President, Retirement Plan Services Sales is to develop and maintain skills to successfully market proprietary funds and retirement plan services to a prioritized territory of prospects through territory management and the coordination of projects while interfacing with other personnel and departments within the company. This position involves direct sales, developing sales opportunities through consultants and advisers, and team selling with the Consultant Sales team, JPMorgan Client Advisors and Commercial Bankers.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain through lead generation, relationship management, planning, presentation skills, pipeline management, closing and follow-up, communication and teamwork skills necessary to successfully market proprietary funds and retirement plan services. (70%)
2. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Retirement Plan Services, JPMorgan products and services. (30%)
Position will be located in the Southeast US
Skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment.
Previous sales experience of retirement plan services or proven client-focused presentation, communication and relationship building skills.
Demonstrated understanding of the financial industry and a thorough knowledge of JPMorgan products, policies and procedures
Internal applicants: six months' employment in current position and one year in current department preferred.
