Job Description

Business Overview:
JPMorgan Asset Management ("JPMAM") provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide. It offers the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds.

Role Description:
The Funds Management Business is looking to expand its Defined Contribution Investment Solutions Business. The primary role of the internal IODC wholesaling team is to prospect, close business, and promote JP Morgan retirement funds to advisors who specialize in the sale of retirement plans to the mid and small plan segments. The position requires accountability to an external salesperson covering the corresponding region from the road. Candidates should be self-starters who have a strong desire to succeed and to achieve goals in a consistent and timely manner.

The primary objectives are to 1) influence the placement of Investment Strategies within a Plan Sponsor's investment menu 2) Work with JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services (RPS) to manage information flow, manage education & communication efforts, support institutional efforts & coordinate information management and reporting.

You will also be responsible for sales by prospecting via conference attendance, cold calling, direct mail campaigns, etc.

As an internal wholesaler you will cultivate and manage client relationships with Tier II Advisors (<$400MM AUA) and Regional TPA firms, by responding to client inquiries, providing ongoing communication with clients/prospects, and managing the client/prospects throughout the sales cycle, resulting in closed business. In addition, you will provide sales support to the external wholesaler in the region through client call backs, written follow up and lead generation.
