Account Managers at Wipro Technologies

The Account Manager (AM) will be a key, senior member of Wipro’s key account in Manufacturing vertical. The AM will be responsible managing a 20+ MM of business and growing it substantially (farming).

The responsibilities of AM will be to develop and grow business by ensuring:
1.Excellent Relationship Management and Stakeholder Management
2.Identify client issues, provide efficient resolutions, proactive proposals,
3.Efficient delivery management with the use of the delivery team reporting into the AM.

The AM will be dedicated to one account in Rochester, NY. The AM will be given an existing business of at least 20 MM and will be provided tools and contacts to grow it substantially. The business growth will primarily depend on AMs ability to manage and grow relationships, identify growth opportunities and provide intelligent solutions, and manage quality delivery. There will be a large delivery team reporting into the AM.

This is a high growth opportunity in a high-growth firm. A successful AM can rise rapidly in this account.

Skills

10+ years of experience in software services or a major consulting company.
Excellent academic credentials. Top tier MBA or equivalent a major plus.

Proven ability to launch and execute successful initiatives in complex and challenging environments.
Powerful verbal / written / presentation / facilitation / communication / relationship building / social networking skills
Experience motivating and leading large, multi cultural, cross functional teams
Experience facilitating high level client meetings and managing a robust portfolio of client projects
Ability to understand a client’s business organization, as well industry and segment trends
Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
Willingness to be onsite at a client location and able to travel a little to support the needs of the business
Excellent client presence and proven client relationship building capability; willing to provide senior / top level client references
Experience as an effective driver of sales activities - proposals, etc.; Proven ability to sell consulting outside of the IT organization
Experience with global delivery preferred but not essential
Depth to support practice methodology, growth and mentor affiliated team members
