We have a current opening for a Finance Director to lead the European Commercial Finance organization. The Commercial Finance organization is responsible for leading key transactions for Cisco. Our primary focus areas are centered around deal structuring, strategy and contract negotiations.
You will lead a team that is front and center driving transactions for Cisco.

Role Description:
* Lead a team of twenty Commercial Finance Solutions Executives
* Personally get involved with or lead large complex transactions requiring an executive level of interaction
* Ability to interact and influence decisions with Cisco’s significant customers at CxO's and Business Decision Maker level
* Work with cross-functional teams on deal solutions: sales, Corp finance, legal, Cisco Capital, corporate revenue accounting, logistics, marketing, channels, etc.
* Lead cross-functional initiatives to increase the commercial competitiveness of Cisco.
Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 15+ years in proven commercial environment preferably in a high technology company or banking industry with a good knowledge of communications, enterprise, commercial, public sector and service provider industries.
* Proven 5+ years experience in leading a transaction based team
* Proven complex deal experience
* Strategic/creative thinking & the ability to effectively leverage teamwork to achieve measurable & quality results
* Proven business acumen and negotiation skills
* Analytical and execution oriented
* Strong communication skills (written, presentation and oral)
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
(Note: College degree required and MBA preferred)
* Leadership experience (direct and virtual teams)
* Good understanding of Cisco’s solution offerings
* Project finance, structured finance, leasing experience
* Financial scenario and margin analysis
