The Director, Specialty Access Solutions is responsible for supporting and leading patient access and support for to Eucrisa through eucrisa•4•you (the HUB).

This position will ensure efficient operation of Eucrisa access services and patient support programs (i.e., HUBs and other appropriate services), development of strategy, execution of access/service tactics, vendor management, innovation championing, and coordination with appropriate stakeholders to align to brand strategy – all with the focus on optimizing access to Eucrisa and the appropriate patient experience.
This position will partner closely with the brand team (HCP, Patient, and Access Integration), field teams, legal, vendors, Corporate Responsibility, and Payer & Channel Access colleagues who support the Eucrisa business. This position is essential to ensuring all PFE engagement and programs are undertaken in a complaint manner, adhering to Pfizer policies and procedures.

In addition, the Director will be assigned to lead and/or assist in the development of ad-hoc and I&I projects, programs, and HUB services outside of their day-to-day Eucrisa responsibilities as needed.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Support and/or Lead specific initiatives in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Patient Access/HUB services, including:

Development, or support the development of access strategic and tactical plans
Development of a Eucrisa HUB strategy
Development and maintenance of patient access services, which may include: design, development, execution, and maintenance
HUB/reimbursement services vendor engagement and management
Leading RFP selection process (if applicable)
Project management of service enhancements and initiatives
Recommend budget requirements and manage dedicated brand dollars to access and service initiatives
Identify, develop, and execute patient support services that help patients access and stay on appropriate therapy
Integrate new approaches and technology to increase efficacy and patient engagement
Monitor key operations metrics and conduct reviews with vendors. Provide leadership to improve operations and leverage organization synergies.
Ensure compliance to the BRD and service quality of the HUB, including:

Provide operational leadership of the Eucrisa HUB
Maintaining the Business Rules Document (BRD) and implementing associated training
Ensuring compliance to PFE policy
HUB services quality assurance monitoring and remediation
Partner with appropriate stakeholders to monitor HUB vendor key performance indicators, physician office satisfaction, and field force satisfaction
Development/co-development of key tactical elements

Ability to develop and integrate market insights and analytics into access/services strategies and tactics
Understand the key drivers of product uptake in the various SOC’s and how targeted services can assist this uptake
Identify, develop, and execute patient support services that help patients access and stay on appropriate therapy
Development of patient access services content, collateral, printing, distribution and field communications
Review Committee (RC) representation for appropriate materials
Liaise with brand team and field organization where appropriate, including training
Lead appropriate data integration and reporting initiatives, including:

HUB key performance indicators performance data monitoring and alerting
HUB – SPP data feeds and onboarding coordination with SAS colleagues, as appropriate
HUB data insights generation
Collaboration with appropriate stakeholders
HUB or vendor quarterly business reviews
Coordination with Specialty Access Solutions (SAS) and PCA colleagues on initiatives with the SPP limited distribution network, specialty payers, and cross enterprise synergies

Ensure all operations are consistent with Pfizer Policy and compliance standards

Provide a Patient First mindset to support services and bring that approach to Pfizer vendors

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10 years of pharmaceutical experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Strong project management skills and experience
A high attention to detail with a customer service orientation is highly desired
Knowledge of HUBs and payer intermediaries for specialty products
Understanding of reimbursement dynamics given multiple sites-of-care
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Vendor management experience
Experienced working in a cross functional, matrix organization
Experience in executing and managing highly complex programs and projects
Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, communication skills, entrepreneurship
Understanding the patient needs/services and the patient journey is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage patient access services planning, budget, project management and execution, a plus
Conceptualization, development, and execution of patient support programs a plus
Experience in marketing, payer marketing, specialty pharmacy, strategic and tactical planning, and business analytics a plus
MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to travel on airplane and trains to go to Pfizer NYC and/or Collegeville HQ, HUB vendor locations, and various trade/medical/patient meetings.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

The position will requires approximately 20% travel to HUB vendors, conferences, agencies, and other access related venues/meetings. This includes overnight travel.
