Works on multiple projects as a technical lead or internal consultant. Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas. Works across multiple technical or functional domains.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Leads and coordinates the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.
Analyzes, designs and develops a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Review and/or analyzes and develops architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
Participates in the EA domain governance model.
Contributes to the development of software, data and technology platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
Leads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives.
Develops, motivates and directs staff to create a team environment.
A Senior Manager is a leader that manages his/her product line. / major project or large portfolio.
The direct reports to this leader are technical leads and individual contributors …. other people managers can be led through indirect reporting relationships.
Leadership comes through technical depth within the product line and ability to lead/influence within business.
This leader will leverage his/her technical depth and broader business understanding to coach and develop the technical leaders that report to them.
May also assume budget management responsibilities and strategic inputs into S2 and other business activities.
May also have responsibility for teams in multiple geographies.
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Responsible for management activities including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming
Select, train, develop, manage and lead the people
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a technical area (Architecture, Software, or Information Technology) or (a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Information Technology or Software).
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to travel up to 10%
Must be willing to work out of an office located in New Orleans, LA
Desired Characteristics:
Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
Solaris, Linux and/or Windows experience with system administration skills
Knowledge & understanding of multi-tier system architectures
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with complex Database environments including hardware and supporting infrastructures.
Administrative experience with one or more database technologies including Oracle, MSSQL,
MYSQL or DB2
Systems Administration background in Solaris, Linux, and/or windows
Experience with RAC, Veritas, or Windows 2008 clustering
Experience with virtualization technologies
Shell scripting or application design experience
Project Management experience & proven track record
Provide consulting support to ERP application teams, Solutions Architect in complex systems design
Provide level 3 and 4 support application teams to identify and repair performance and availability issues
Provide leadership to identify practical solutions to improve performance and availability for support applications and infrastructure
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
Quality and cost driven while working on projects
Ability to set own action plans
Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
