We are looking for a talented and experienced person to be Director of Billing operations. This position is responsible for leading and planning the insurance billing operations and managing metrics to successful outcomes. In this role, you’ll be designing, implementing and enforcing process, as well as streamlining effective insurance billing processes. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.
Manage operations in the billing department to make the trains run on time
Oversee a large complex operational area of a company
Work with a tight-knit team in a fun environment
Hire and optimize teams operational teams
Tactical oversight of monthly metrics
Build new process where needed
Staffing discussions and planning/interviews
Collaborate and work with internal departments for process improvements and resolution of any issues
Prepare ad hoc analysis, when needed
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves to get things done
About you
Detail oriented
Able to build and maintain process
Able to manage to metrics
Excellent organizational and task management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Enjoys solving problems and identifying patterns
Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
5-15 years management experience in operations or such areas as Billing, A/R and Collections
Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems
Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and incentivize teams
