As part of the Global Customer Learning organization, this role will lead a team focused on defining the learning strategy to address the customer skills gap across Solution areas (Apps & Infrastructure, Data & AI, Modern Workplace and Business Apps). By partnering deeply with Engineering and BG teams, the team’s objective is to create a role-based learning program portfolio that directly addresses these customer skills gaps.
Responsibilities



Lead and coach a high-performance team of Learning Development Managers. Act as an effective people manger, supporting morale, engagement and career development.



Develop deep insights on each Solution Area and understand the customer skills gaps



Build effective learning paths and curricula, by solution area, to address these gaps



Curate and source content to fill customer learning needs



Orchestrate across a team of Engineering, Marketing and Learning stake holders to deliver high quality learning paths



Thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in all levels of the organization.



Accomplish this by understanding our technology and our customers to determine where we should invest in development and then define the requirements for that development.



Become a trusted advisor and valued member of the teams affecting customer adoption, influencing strategy and supporting execution, all with a learning perspective



Deeply understand the efficacy of the programs. Partner closely with engineering; understand reporting and drive improvement with data



Show strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends 







For this role of Sr. Director Learning Development, we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who blends business skills with Enterprise marketing and sales, and a solid technical background.







Basic Qualifications:



5 years of product management, program management, or marketing experience



5 years experience in a people management role







Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or Master’s degree



10 years of working experience



Experience having ownership of deliverables for analytics or leading data-driven large-scale product features.



Experience in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements



Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, solve problems, scope technical requirements and prioritize project work.



Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.



Demonstrated expertise collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver global solutions



Demonstrated expertise in coaching, supporting, and increasing the capabilities of team members.



Effective analytical and project management skills.



Ability to travel globally 10-20%
