Reporting to the Vice President of Canadian IT Operations, the new Director of Program Management will work alongside three IT divisions: Business Systems, Application Development, and Infrastructure to deliver IT solutions across the Minto group. The Director of Program Management will have a broad understanding of key business systems including SAP and SharePoint alongside a vision for how agile technologies will play an increasingly important role for Minto. Client focused and results oriented, the Director of Program Management defines projects, develops strategy with the executive teams of each operating group, promotes collaboration and cohesion between the business entities and ensures that IT transformations and delivered within scope, on time, and on budget.

As the ideal candidate, you are a qualified IT specialist with a proven track record of project lifecycle management including project scope definition, risk identification, management methodology, resource allocation, financial analysis, testing, and deployment. You set a vision for the technological development of the organisation and work with the four operating groups to drive organizational innovation through information technology. You foster strong relationships with your clients and understand how to demonstrate potential and realized value of IT investments. You have strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and support a team of Program/Project Managers in executing high quality, results-oriented project plans. You thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential.
