Jaunt VR is looking for a Director of Business Development to lead our extensive business relationship with platform partners. Jaunt’s VR and 360 app is a leading app on all major mobile and VR platforms including iOS, Android/Daydream, Oculus/Facebook, Playstation, and HTC Vive. This position will be responsible for leading and building business relationships with these platform partners.
The role will work across Jaunt including with our studio, marketing, product, and technology teams to bring the best of Jaunt each partner’s platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in media and/or technology and ability to build strong working relationships with platform partners and internal stakeholders.
Identify, manage, and grow our largest strategic platform relationships
Work closely with Studio, Product, Tech, and Marketing to develop program solutions that create, expand and deepen these relationships
Guide partner strategy based on developing trends and competitive landscape
Generate new growth opportunities and build the supporting business case
Negotiate commercial terms and manage implementation of partner programs
Requirements
Ideal candidate will be 6-8 years post college or post-MBA
Business development experience in media and/or technology strongly preferred
Experience in investment banking or consulting preferred
Excellent people skills and communication skills with a focus on client relationships
Results-driven, detail-oriented, organized self-starter with an ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Superb analytical and critical thinking skills (strong excel and powerpoint skills)
Ability to travel
