AR/VR Strategy & Analytics Manager Google Mountain View

As a member of the Daydream Strategy & Analytics team team you’ll be responsible for providing insight, perspective, and direction to enable and scale Google’s next generation of Virtual Reality (VR) and Tango Augmented Reality (AR) experiences.

Virtual Reality and Tango are rapidly evolving as an important new area in personal computing. The Google Daydream team is a fast-moving group that is building the world's best platform for VR and AR, along with hardware devices, and developing VR apps and tools.
You are a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high energy growth environment. You should be a self starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive to improve the status quo, a strong ability to bring structure to complexity, and an inherent curiosity about and interest in new technologies.. You can "crunch the numbers" one minute, and critically think through business problems and succinctly communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders the next. You are driven to deliver results for the team, eager to lend a hand wherever needed, comfortable with shifting priorities needed to bring team closer to the finish line. You will work with the business in understanding their evolving requirements and deliver practical and innovative solutions of real business benefit.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance teams to analyze new opportunities and formulate plans to enable the next generation of VR and AR products. Work with the company's senior executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives
Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations. Lead cross-functional, global teams to get work done
Communicate findings to senior management and to the broader organization
Drive recommendations through to implementation and results
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree; or equivalent practical experience.
Experience analyzing data through statistical, quantitative modeling and forecasting.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA, Masters, or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field; or equivalent practical experience.
Strategic business planning and entrepreneurial experience. Ability to identify compelling end user experiences.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to see big picture while effectively managing detail.
Proven ability to successfully work and partner across multiple functions in an organization. Superior ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management team.
Creative, results driven, able to zoom from strategy to execution, business minded, and collaborative.
