Director Mastercard Send Disbursements Global Product Management Purchase

Overview
• Digital Payments & Labs leads the company in innovating payment products and services using new technologies. Global Digital Payments & Labs leads the development and deployment of Mastercard product and services to many markets and holds accountability for end to end customer experience in the lifecycle of the product and the customers.
• Mastercard Send was the first of its kind to leverage our core infrastructure to push payments within seconds to all U.S. Mastercard and Visa debit cards.
• In 2017 the Director will play a significant role in taking what we have done in the U.S. Market and follow the PME framework to develop, launch and deploy Mastercard Send outside the U.S. in multiple markets.
• This effort is both global and regional and requires strategic and technical thinking that will prepare the markets to support Mastercard Send globally.

Role
The Director, Mastercard Send Disbursements will:
• Proactively lead and manage the relationship with regional and market teams to bring Mastercard Send live in multiple global markets.
• Ensure the Global/Regional/Market Strategy is executed.
• Host and facilitate meetings related to build, enablement, and deployment of Onboarding Sponsor banks/Resellers, Direct Customers and Issuer enablement. This includes the embedding PME principles, kick off meetings, managing/mitigating issues and risks, and go-to-market readiness.
• Drive end to end accountability for Mastercard Send through create, build and run phases of the product. Partner with cross functional teams such as customer account teams, customer delivery, service managements, O&T, and product to deliver on time with the best interest of the product and Mastercard in mind.
• Provide clear understanding in each of the regions/markets of the product and the processes to launch and scale.
• Act as the SME and preferred point of contact for end to end Mastercard Send questions and issues while launching Mastercard Send in new markets.
• Create documentation as needed to support the product in a new market (i.e. market specific playbook, competitive analysis, etc.)
• Develop end to end product construct, implementation and execution of the strategy on how Mastercard Send can sell and win business for the on-demand payment segment (i.e. taxi ride share, freelance, e-marketplace payouts).
• Act as the team’s PME expert to help drive the same regiment in each new market that is launched.


All About You
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field.
• Advanced product management/development experience in the global payment industry; experience in product management from ideation through launch.
• Have experience in bringing a product live in a market (preferably outside the U.S.)
• Ability to act and quickly engage and influence business partners.
• Proven track record of creating effective organized project frameworks for new products.
• Excellent problem solving, product documentation, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Ability to influence people at multiple levels.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Some travel required, 5-10%
