The Television Distribution Division is seeking an experienced television and film licensing executive to join its team in Los Angeles focusing on the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets and global opportunities.

Support senior licensing executives with creating distribution strategy and in deal negotiations, by synthesizing and presenting complex proposals, deal status, and financial analysis
Independently source and develop new licensing opportunities; negotiate, and manage licensing deals and cultivate client relationships
Prepare, evaluate, and handle incoming and outgoing proposals relating to all aspects of content licensing, frequently including complicated rights and content protection issues
Liaise with global sales team in connection with global negotiations and deal status
Liaise with legal department in contract preparation, review and negotiation
Liaise with finance team to evaluate and oversee financial models and deal valuations
Coordinate and communicate deal terms with sales management team
Maintain key internal reports and execute projects on an ad hoc basis (e.g., management presentations, industry research, etc.)
Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of television licensing experience (major US studio experience strongly preferred)
JD strongly preferred
Ability to understand financial models required; financial modeling experience strongly preferred
Proven negotiation, drafting, presentation and analytical skills
Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to wider organizational strategy
Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Self-starter with an ability to work independently
Expertise with technology, and digital media issues, trends and landscape
Desire to utilize legal background (if applicable) in a business environment
Outstanding oral, and written communication and team-working skills
International experience and/or foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French) a plus
