Technical Requirements:
● Hands on experience with deploying scaled, highly available database solutions across different geographical DC for Oracle and Cassandra
● Understanding of database architecture and design including: scalability, backups, performance
● Knowledge of RDMBS: Oracle is required, MySQL and Postgres is a plus
● Knowledge of NoSQL: Cassandra is required; Hadoop, MongoDB, and Riak is a plus
Non-Technical Requirements:
● Agile software development practices
● Experience working on geographically distributed teams
● Excellent communicator
● Self-motivated, able and willing to help where help is needed
