As the Director of Technical Recovery Governance, you will perform a key role in the NIKE Technology Corporate Information Security group and support the Technical Recovery Management (TRM) function. The successful candidate will:
• Lead the design and implement of technical recovery solutions for Nike’s technology supporting the most critical business services.

• Drive development of technical recovery considerations for related projects and/or programs
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of recovery planning products/tools across the enterprise
• Design the processes and procedures to effective manage and coordinate comprehensive recovery exercises
• Develop relationships with key technology partners to ensure recovery practices are being implemented throughout the enterprise
• Identify and drive the value proposition associated with recovery solutions
• Demonstrate an expertise in recovery planning practices and techniques and be recognized as a subject-matter-expert within the organization
• Promote technical recovery practices and champion the implementation across the organization
• Manage relationships with clients and technical partners to ensure completion of annual technical recovery requirements
• Develop management reports and presentations and demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Participate in the development and tracking of effective technical recovery metrics and dashboards
• Guide the development of recovery planning processes and practices for the Technical Recovery Management (TRM) function
• Work with IT and business representatives to define recovery requirements and priorities
• Demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into technical recovery plans and capabilities
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 6-10 years of experience leading technology projects and teams.
• Proven experience leading technology related projects with a focus on recovery solutions and strategies.
• Exceptional technical background with the ability to engage with team members to design strategies and build technical solutions
• Experience in managing technical staff and providing strong leadership
• Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve results
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, and verbalize ideas effectively
• Experience leading projects helping to design strategies, drive solutions, and document results
• Experience conducting tests and exercises in a technical environment
• Ability to document technical terms, concepts and strategies into executable action plans
• Ability to lead and guide technology stakeholders at all levels in the evaluation, development and execution of technology solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with technical and business personnel to gain consensus and influence successful outcomes
• Excels working in team-oriented environment that depends on ability to collaborate and build partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and work cross-functionally with stakeholders and team members
