This position is responsible for the ongoing product development of Gartner Events' product portfolio. A key member of the Global Business Ops team, responsible for analyzing, monitoring and providing guidance to senior leadership regarding implementation of the global business unit strategy.
Watch: Career Advice Responsible for executing strategy and direction of the global Event business, will shape future business and product strategy based on thorough evaluation of complex market and client requirements.
Monitor and analyze trends, business performance against plan and long term strategy, develop recommendations, and present findings to Events leadership team.
Develop mechanisms for assessing ROI on event product and business investments.
Identify specific market opportunities or business needs, gain approval, develop project work plans, manage cross-functional project teams, and execute against set timelines and within budget.
Qualifications
10+ BA in Business, Marketing or Finance required, MBA preferred.
10+ years experience in Events, Marketing, Product Development, Strategy, Management and/or financial analysis.
Experience in product management processes such as market needs and competitive analysis, market segmentation, strategic planning, pricing, etc.
Ability to work in and lead diverse teams and projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization.
Ability to distill large amounts/complex information into a concise message.
