As Director of Talent, Video Production & Development, you will be responsible for helping to grow, develop, and manage Vox Media’s on-camera talent. Additionally, this position will establish best practices for all Vox Media brands working with outside celebrity talent.

Support Head of Video and Vox Media Brand Executive Producers in developing and identifying new talent internally and externally
Seek out new talent by attending talent showcases and developing relationships with talent representatives
Establish and maintain relationships with talent managers, publicists, and agents to better serve current and future Vox Media talent needs
Work with Vox Media Brand General Managers/Marketing/Communications to coordinate talent participation in brand building, events, and press opportunities
Establish best practices to book celebrity talent on Vox Media’s eight properties; Work closely with publicists and talent managers as a centralized resource for talent bookings
Qualifications:
Minimum seven years related experience in a media or entertainment company
Minimum five years experience as talent executive in a media or entertainment company.
Extremely well connected, with deep contacts in the world of publicity, agencies, talent management, and production.
Broad understanding of new media landscape and emerging talent on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, YouNow, etc.
