Lenovo is seeking a director of Global Accounts to manage our Wall Street/Financial Vertical. This leader will oversee a team of Global Account Managers and will be responsible for developing and executing on aggressive customer retention, development and acquisition strategy for Lenovo.

The successful candidate will have a successful track record driving sales of enterprise/data center-focused hardware systems and solutions in the East. S/he will be results oriented, and driven by excellence and will work well in a matrix environment with peers in sales, product development, marketing, services and supply chain. This leader should have command and be able to influence at all levels throughout the organization, externally with customers and potential partners by virtue of his/her industry expertise. S/he will have the capacity to guide and develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and distill this understanding into simple, straightforward enterprise solutions that make a clear difference to the customer’s business.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing, managing and maintaining new and existing account relationships while delivering on aggressive sales objectives.
• Proven skills in creating and executing strategy; creative thinking; problem solving; providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives.
• Monitoring and driving team performance with a strong focus on leadership development for direct reports.
• Proven ability using a structured management approach to run a high performance sales team.
• Capability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
• This position will directly and indirectly manage other skilled sales professionals.
• Ability to define and drive team results is a must.

Position Requirements
• Exceptional leader and sales coach with a focus on strong sales operations skills and the ability to form and develop high level relationships with customers.
• 10+ Years in Sales Roles. Global preferred.
• 7+ Years managing a remote team
• Server sales experience required.
• Account experience with Fortune 500 - Global Accounts
• Previous management of sales professionals in a multi-state territory is required.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
• Proven ability to build high level customer relationships in large accounts, enabling the relationship to be a fundamental part of the winning and growing the account
• Superior Retention / Development / Acquisition skills
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of and established relationships with Global accounts in the territory.
• BS required, MBA Preferred
• NYC metro area is preferred location.
