The Quality Management Services Director is responsible for leading and managing software quality management and testing services to support US and Global markets. Products include Restaurant and Digital Solutions and corporate Supply Chain systems. This includes driving and implementing best practices with an overall quality vision for software quality “by design”, testing and release management. Key stakeholders include IT Restaurants, IT Digital/Data, US, APMEA, Europe and Canada. This person directs an employee team and a strategic vendor partner who is responsible for delivery of QA / QE services.

A key accountability is ensuring measurable improvement of software product quality through the execution of effective and efficient quality assurance and engineering as well as strong partnerships with Product and market teams. Responsibilities
• Sets the vision, strategy and roadmap for the QA / QE organization in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Leverages vendors, research companies and Internal teams to outline strategic direction for the QA organization in alignment with technology roadmap
• Builds and enhances strategic partnerships to drive strategic decision making and advises team on the same
• Identifies, implements and drives adoption in partnership with leaders on quality assurance/ engineering services that enables efficiency, quality and speed to market
• Identifies trends and plans changes to QA / QE services to enable localized services specific to product teams and support of global markets within the enterprise
• Drives automation across the product development lifecycle
• Establishes capital and expense budgets for the QA organization; ensures vendors deliver QA services within the budget
• Build strategic partnership and manage delivery of QA / QE services with vendor
• Build Governance model and hold vendor accountable for service commitments
• Provide visibility into health of the organization, SLA adherement and financial management through regular reporting
• Drive transformation activities to deliver QE services in support of product development teams
• Govern Quality Assurance / Engineering tools to ensure usage of a standard set across the enterprise
• Drives communication and collaboration with Sr. Leadership and vendor executives on status, issues and decisions to influence business strategies
• Translates technology concepts into clear, digestible business appropriate language and package presentations concisely for Sr. Leadership
• Drives continuous improvement, innovation and lean thinking management techniques to drive efficiencies in the organization
• Adapts readily and leads testing teams effectively through changing priorities
• Achieves alignment among stakeholders and exhibits a strong level of decisiveness in a timely manner
• Drives a winning culture promoting teamwork and Associate development
• Advocates for team by moving decisions forward, eliminating barriers and navigating organizational culture
Minimum Requirements
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree MIS, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 10+years overall IT experience with significant experience in software development, testing, support and deployment in a cross-functional / matrix organization,
• 5+ years of progressive management experience, expertise in multiple SDLC methodologies
• Experience leading transformation activities and driving change within the organization

DESIRED:
• MBA
• Knowledge and Experience of Quality Engineering practices, automation frameworks, dev ops techniques and tools
• Demonstrated leadership success leading large projects/project teams across multiple stakeholders through effective planning, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of software quality and release management processes, methods and controls across the SDLC.
• Demonstrated experience in test planning, management and software defect analysis.
• Advanced skills in building and sustaining individual and team relationships
• Advanced skills in project management disciplines including project and resource planning, change management, risk and issue management, project reporting including project financials.
